Time for nothing is 30 minutes contemplative performance for 1 audience member and 1 performer.

In Time for nothing the spectator lies down, relaxed, under a cabine with a glass floor as the performer dances over them.

One above, one below, they stretch out and surrender to the same desire: to open themselves to unproductive time, to welcome the surprises of a new bodily landscape.

Playing with codes of shared intimacy and pleasure, Time for nothing offers an experience of intimate proximity between two people – a kind of transparent, ethical, radically tender peep show, a gift or a contract between donor and recipient.

The piece has been designed to adapt to different indoor spaces and performance venues, as well as outdoor locations.

Changing perceptions of performance itself, the installation has been designed to work equally with professional performers and amateur groups.
