“In SELF MADE MAN, I’m mingling movements to discourse and singing. Meanwhile the scenography occuring and evolving alongside the dramaturgy. Playing then with those multiple practices I’m considering the stage as a possible place of craftmanship as well as a see through factory.
This very space, nude and empty is dedicated to making. It’s ordered by a self-taught spirit himself being ruled by intuition.
This worksite then becomes a field for a body and a space.

SELF MADE MAN is trying to achieve a precarious equilibrium between the time of the concrete practice and the time for contemplation.
Build (the self), (re)build, (de)constructing : the body, sounds, figures, landscapes. Build a language, as well as our relation to the world.

SELF MADE MAN is becoming then a polyphonic score for a lonely self-taught one. Through the process of recreating the self, a grammar of survival is emerging. Acheiving a slow and profund utopia”.
